Lawns and outdoor areas are maintained by Better Cuts, our participant‑run lawn care service, which keeps our homes looking great while building skills and opportunities for the people we support.
Individualised Support
Better Housing offers both drop‑in support and overnight assistance, depending on each participant’s needs. Our team is trauma aware and person centred, ensuring every individual receives support that feels safe, predictable and genuinely respectful.
We take the time to understand each person’s goals, preferences and routines so we can match them with the right home and the right housemates.
Everyday Skill Building
Skill building is at the heart of what we do.
We support participants to learn and grow in areas that matter for daily living, including cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and maintaining a comfortable home. These skills build confidence and independence, helping people take meaningful steps toward the life they want.
